Dear Child as small as I!
In my own way
I want to say
A little, sweet good-bye.
Dear Child Jesus,
The day with Thee
Is through for me.
I pray Thee keep
Me safe in sleep,
And that I dream of Thee.
Dear Child Jesus,
How sweet the dream would be!
If in the night
The lovely sight
Of Thee appeared to me.
