At night I kneel by mother’s knee
To thank you God for your care
Thank you for all the gifts
That made the day so fair.
I thank You for the nighttime
For the stars and moonlight too
For my parents
And friends so kind and true.
Now I pray my soul You to keep
For sleep all through the night
Watch over me
Till morning brings its light.
